BUSY FINGERS meets on the first and third Tuesday of the month in the Village Hall at 8pm.

'Busy Fingers' was established in 19989, bringing together people who are skilled or wish to learn some form of handicraft. The group is self fuelling, in that those who have aspecific skill, give guidance /instruction to those who wish to learn that craft. thereby impart their knowledge to those who have an interest in handicrafted items. Over the past years 'Busy Fingers' has given guidance on decoupage, fresh and dried flower arranging, glass painting, tailored lampshades, quilting, handmade cards, tassel makings, ribbon and stump work, to name but a few. In addition speakers proficient in their field have demonstrated and given talks on propagating fushias, creative beadwork, sugar craft, and fabric box making. In the past visits have also been arranged to several Craft Fairs and Exhibtions, the most notable being Hatfield House, Alexandra Palace and the Sandringham Flower Show. 'Busy Fingers' held their first Christmas Craft Fair in 1999 and have raised more than £2000 which has been donated to a nominated charity such as; Leukaemia Research, Farleigh Hspice, Cancer Research, with a donation each year to RSPCA Danaher Animal Home, Wethersfield.
